My Journey as a Chess Player

The Early Days

I was introduced to chess at a young age, drawn to the elegance and complexity of the game. My initial lessons came from family members, and soon, I found myself participating in local tournaments. The thrill of competition and the desire to improve kept me engaged, leading to countless hours of studying opening books, practicing endgames, and analyzing games from magazines like Chess Informant and New in Chess. I was 6 years old when I played my first tournament in 1991.
